The Privatization of War was originally comissioned for the Kwangju Biennial
(South Korea) and has been republished in international newspapers including
Liberazione (Italy), Der Junge Welt (Germany), the Brooklyn Rail (New York
City), and Vea (Venezuela). The project diagrams the relationships between
the United States and private military contractors (PMCs); and their
activities in Colombia and Iraq. These nations are two key sites that
exemplify PMC operation in the new world order.
